This site uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use pages (for example, which sections are viewed and how users navigate). Clarity may collect technical data such as device type, browser, approximate location derived from IP address, and interaction patterns.

Microsoft acts as a service provider processing that data on my behalf. Clarity is configured for this site only and is not used to sell your data or to show you targeted advertising on other sites.

Where EU data protection law applies, analytics are used on the basis of legitimate interest: improving the site and understanding whether content is useful, balanced against your rights. You may object by disabling analytics in your browser or using tracking protection.

Where the Protection of Personal Information Act applies, I process only what is necessary to operate and improve this website. I do not collect special personal information through this site. Responsible party: Elvis Tapfumanei.

If you use the contact form, the site collects your name, email address, organisation and role where supplied, enquiry type, business or regulatory context, workflow or problem, desired outcome and target timeframe. This information is used only to assess and respond to your enquiry.

Form submissions are stored in Cloudflare D1 and delivered through Resend, which processes the submission as an email service provider. When Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, Cloudflare also processes technical signals needed to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse.

Do not include passwords, financial information, health information, or other sensitive personal information in the message field. If you email me directly, I use your message and address only to respond.

If you request a downloadable research resource, the site collects your name, email, organisation and role where supplied. This information is used to provide the resource, record the request and respond if there is a substantive question about that resource.

Download requests are stored in Cloudflare D1 and delivered through Resend as an email service provider. When Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, Cloudflare processes the technical signals needed to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse.

Analytics data is retained according to Microsoft's Clarity settings. Contact enquiries and research download requests are normally deleted after 12 months. A record may be retained for longer when it forms part of an active business relationship or must be kept to meet a legal obligation.

The submission database does not store Turnstile tokens or visitor IP addresses. This site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure; I take reasonable steps to keep the site and associated accounts protected.
