Ventures

What I’m building.

Three separate businesses, each with its own purpose.

Free Decision; cohort by invitation

StudyChops

Before the stakes are real.

Professional Decision Rehearsal: practise difficult workplace decisions before the stakes are real.

How it works

Take a role in a fictional organisation. Read the evidence, commit a recommendation before you know the outcome and record what would change your mind. When new information arrives, reconsider. Both positions stay in your Decision Lineage.

Your words stay yours

Nothing is scored, ranked or certified. AI plays the people within the Case evidence; you make the recommendation. No employer sees your words. Sponsors receive participation and group themes, never individual words.

Founded in Cape Town in March 2026. The Final Call is free: about 45 minutes, no account. The KoruPay Flex cohort is free and by invitation.

Sooner or later, someone asks: “What do you recommend?”

StudyChops is where you rehearse that moment. I call the category Professional Decision Rehearsal: a place to practise difficult workplace decisions before your name is on a real one.

How it works

You take a role inside a fictional organisation. You read the evidence, question the people involved, and commit a recommendation before you know what happens. Before you commit, you write down what would change your mind.

Then the organisation acts, new information arrives, and you are asked one thing: does your recommendation still hold?

You can change your mind. You can’t rewrite what you believed before. Both positions are kept exactly as you wrote them, in a record called a Decision Lineage. On a real decision, the outcome usually rewrites the first one.

Why I built it

I’m interested in what happens to a recommendation once people know how it turned out. The outcome can make the original uncertainty hard to remember, so I wanted a place where you could practise making the call, say what would change your mind, and return to both without rewriting the first one.

What it is not

It is not a course, a test or a credential. Nothing is scored, ranked or certified, and more than one recommendation may survive scrutiny. Every company and person in a Case is invented.

The people in a Case reply using AI, within the evidence written for that Case. AI does not make the recommendation and does not grade it.

Whose it is

Yours, not your employer’s. No employer, sponsor or buyer sees what you write. An organisation that sponsors a cohort learns who took part and the themes across the group, never one person’s words.

Who it is for

People whose recommendations others rely on: programme leads, product and engineering managers, commercial leaders, executives.

Where it stands

I founded StudyChops in March 2026, in Cape Town. The first Decision, The Final Call, is open to everyone: about 45 minutes, free, no account needed. A first cohort is working through the rest of its Case, KoruPay Flex, by invitation and with no payment.

Operating

elmunei studio

I design and build websites, digital experiences and the workflows behind them, mostly for founders and smaller businesses. Built to work on an ordinary Tuesday.

I’ve always been interested in the part of digital work that happens after the presentation ends.

Someone has to build the thing. Make the website work. Connect the systems. Figure out what happens when a customer clicks, pays, enquires or needs help.

elmunei studio is where I do that work. I design and build websites, digital experiences and the workflows behind them, mostly for founders and smaller businesses.

I care about how things look. I care just as much about whether they work on an ordinary Tuesday.

Private design phase

Colloxa

I’m building a control layer for what AI can do, what information it accesses and the evidence it leaves. The work begins in South Africa and Zimbabwe. Colloxa is in a private design phase.

Read more about Colloxa

I’m building Colloxa around a question that businesses adopting AI will eventually have to answer: can you account for what your AI systems were allowed to do, what information they accessed, and why?

Colloxa is an attempt to make those answers available before something goes wrong. We’re developing a control layer that governs how information reaches AI systems, when people need to intervene, and what evidence gets left behind.

The work begins in South Africa and Zimbabwe, where regulation, infrastructure and the realities of doing business don’t always fit the assumptions made elsewhere.
